Faculty Endowment Gifts
Endowed chairs and professors
These endowments allow the University to continue to attract and retain top ranked faculty for the program. An important purpose of such and appointment is to enable the faculty to make greater contributions to the retailing field through research and to the educational goals of the University by expanding the knowledge base of the retailing field, teaching and providing service to the community.
Named Endowment for Academic Chair
Annual income may provide salary support for the faculty member appointed to chair the retailing degree program. Funds also may be used to support faculty research projects including project assistantships for graduate students.
Named Endowment for Retailing Professorship
Annual income may provide salary support or expenses related to teaching, research and outreach activities of the faculty member awarded this title. Donors may stipulate the use of the funds and also determine the duration of the appointment.
Named Endowment for Faulty Scholar
Annual income provides support for junior faculty. These awards are used to encourage and support junior members of the faculty as they work to establish a research track record in order to become tenured.
