Major Gift and Scholarship

Opportunities :

In order to achieve our goal, the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks a major gift to provide state of the art facilities for the Center for Retailing Excellence and funds to provide on-going support for faculty, staff and students who will work to achieve the mission and strategic vision of the Center.

Naming Opportunities

Named E-Commerce Lab:

Space to facilitate collaboration across the campus and with industry partners relative to innovations and trends in e-commerce that would provide opportunities for undergraduate and graduate research and education.

Named Retail Design Studio (Interior, Textile, and Apparel):

Space and equipment to allow our design programs to continue to lead the nation.

Named Scholarships

Doctoral Scholarships (three-year gift):

Single gift would provide funds for a doctoral scholarship over a three year period. Gift would help the School recruit top prospects so as to develop future educators and researchers.

Undergraduate Posse/People Scholarship (two-year gift):

Annual income provides support for one undergraduate scholarship and would be paired with a paid summer internship by the donor. Designed to attract a more diverse group of students to the retail and design majors.
