Application materials for the doctoral and masters programs whould be received by January 10 for Fall semester admission to be considered for all forms of financial aid. All applicants must complete the Graduate Record Exam. Notification of admission and financial aid awards will be made by March 15.

In addition to the on-line application to the Graduate School, applicants to the M.S. and Ph.D. programs must submit to the Consumer Behavior and Family Economics Program, Graduate Record Examination scores, Official transcript from all post-high school institutions attended, three letters of recommendation from former professors or others familiar with your ability to pursue graduate study, and a letter of interest describing your reasons for undertaking graduate study and your professional goals. International applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). International students who hold degrees from U.S. institutions do not need to submit language test scores. In addition, the Ph.D. program application requires a master's in Consumer Behavior or Family Economics or an equivalent degree.
