Robert Behnke co-founded Fair Indigo, a Madison-based fair trade and eco-friendly retailer, with a small group of people in the Fall of 2006. Prior to co-founding Fair Indigo, Robert spent eleven years at Lands' End, where he held positions in international merchandising (including two years as an ex-pat in Japan), internet merchandising, and product development. He also served as store manager for three Lands' End retail stores. Prior to joining Lands' End, Robert worked in store merchandising at Macy's-West in San Francisco and Minneapolis. He graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Business Administration and minor in Psychology.
