Portfolios
Graduate Portfolios
Many graduate students produce creative work. MFA candidates put on at least one major show, and are encouraged to do an additional one after their second year of study. Additionally, some graduate students combine creative work with their research, using the creative work to describe or explore the issues that they also examine through written scholarship. See the Graduate Portfolio page for samples of this work.
Undergraduate Portfolios
All undergraduate students complete a portfolio before graduating, and participate in a portfolio show where all the students in the program area get together and show a sampling of the work they have created during their academic careers. Every year there is a juried student show that includes work from students at all levels, from Freshmen to Seniors. The work is exciting to see, and the top projects also receive awards. See the Undergraduate Portfolio page for samples of this work.
Faculty and Staff Portfolios
Faculty and staff who focus on creative scholarship also have portfolios of their work, and some also have Web sites. See the Faculty & Staff Portfolio page for samples of this work.
Faculty and Staff Gallery Venues
Many faculty and staff show their work in solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, juried group shows or competitions. Below is a selective sampling of faculty exhibitions. Also, see the Design Gallery Web site for current and past gallery activities.
