Graduate Student Website

Last year our HDFS graduate students began compiling a resource website specifically for HDFS graduate students.  The site is a work in progress.  Here's the link:

A number of teaching assistantships (TA’s) and project assistantships (PA’s) are available to students in the department each year. These assistantships provide tuition remission, benefits and a stipend.  For a general introduction to funding and a description of a variety of funding sources, including assistantships, fellowships, scholarships, travel and research awards and more

Annual Graduate Student Merit Review Process

Information on our yearly Merit Review Process can be found in the Graduate Program Handbook (see pp. 14-18).

Degree Completion

Warrants for degree completion are ordered for you by our Dept. Admin.  Each semester an email is sent to all students asking whether they plan to complete their degree during the current semester.  There are deadlines for having our Dept. Admin. submit your commencement information, as well as the warrant request.
