Our City: Madison, Wisconsin

Madison, Wisconsin is a thriving city, built upon its twin foundations as state capital and home of the University of Wisconsin. Consistently ranked very high among the nation's "best places to live", "child friendly", and "scenic" cities, Madison is built around four lakes. Its hilly terrain, parks, and woodlands imbue the urban setting with a friendly community atmosphere. The city's quality of life is evident in its rich cultural and recreational offerings, which range from music and live theater, to city and neighborhood festivals, to amateur sports. Madison has one of the nation's most extensive systems of bicycling paths and lanes, as well as reliable public transportation.
