Social Work Certificate (Department of Social Work)

Focus

Provide students with the coursework necessary to obtain state certification.

Certification

Students take courses in a variety of departments in order to fulfill the state requirements for social work certification. However, these courses are typically unavailable to students who are not a declared Social Work major. The department recommends that students consider applying for a double major in Social Work if they are interested in obtaining state certification as a social worker.
