Research
Research in Human Ecology is interdisciplinary and collaborative, energized by partnerships with scholars in diverse, specialized fields and institutions. Conducted by faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, Human Ecology research responds to real-world problems and environments.
Human Ecology scholarship reflects the School’s mission of improving the quality of human life. It includes outreach, and creative endeavors, encompassing aesthetics and culture, human development across the lifespan, and financial security and consumer behavior. Human Ecology scholarship often explores human development and behavior within the context of families, communities, and their environments.
