Community Leadership Program Admission
Today's world is one of change, challenge, and opportunity. Nowhere is this truer than at the community level where the complexity and drama of issues facing youth, adults, and families is matched by the remarkable spirit and innovation of people working together to bring change and renewal. If you care about issues affecting people and believe that efforts at the community level are the foundation for solutions, this is the program for you.
Applications for the Community Leadership option are accepted at any time throughout the year.The expected minimum grade point average for admission is 2.4, although applicants with a GPA above a 2.0 will be considered. There is no preset GPA that guarantees admission.
Application materials include:
- Resume, including the following categories: Education (degrees and up to 6 relevant courses for community work), Employment, Community/University Service and Volunteering
All application materials should be turned in to the Student Academic Affairs Office, Room 135 Human Ecology.
